Welcome to Sports Bursa Dot Com, this will be the inaugural editor’s note for the new online official unofficial trade journal for the hobby we all love. There are still a few things to iron out but as is said, this portal will be an online magazine for fanboys and enthusiasts who all need a place where they can hang out and speculate on upcoming trends. We have a few segments that still need to be partitioned on the site, which of course requires some coding – working on it.

So, a lot of you know me, mostly because of my exploits selling and trading with you lot. A lot of people wonder why I am so obsessed with starting a website of a hobby related trade journal, well… here is what I believe; I am a writer by choice as well as circumstance, and outside of the latest in what I may have on my plate, coming up real soon – a book adaptation gig which pays RM30k. Believe me the writer’s journey is not always as lucrative as this. Good for me, really!

My resume as a writer is quite extensive. Now, I don’t often talk about it but my writing has not taken up helm in the world of industry guild related affairs. One of my long term goals is to join the Writer’s Guild or America, but as of now need the related writing credits. In saying so, I have worked on guild eligible but guild affiliate projects. It does make it quite official to have guild affiliate as your writer’s status but alas it eludes me for now. I have five guild eligible credits in San Fransisco, which (of course) does not apply in the world of writing credentials… well, not officially anyway. So before the line of questioning that will no doubt emerge from this line of paraphrasing; I am currently looking for an agent to help manage my next output… the adaptation, still pending clearance from the copyright that needs to acquired, by a screenwriting student of mine who lives and works in Saudi Arabia. Sweet girl that person X. So, we will see how that develops. Anyway, enough about me…

So just for clairvoyance’s sake… I am a screenwriter and once upon a time independent film-maker, I moved on from filming and decided that I would focus on my writing because I just wanted to deal with just the one aspect of the process – writing.

I have been published in 10 separate publications to date and have amassed roughly 60 articles published in various magazines both in the KL and the UK. I also have been shortlisted in screenwriting competition(s) twice, where with one shortlist was, I afforded an opportunity to pitch my Tv Pilot at the London Pitch Fest 2012. I manged to skip the affair as I was lacking in the funds department. I am not rich but I do get by. This Magazine is just a means for me to keep productive and for the most part is completely self-funded… should be just a little bit of fun, really!! Come one come all, to the unofficial centra-popular hub for sports cards investing. Most of what I will be writing about will pertain to the thoughts that manifest in our subconscious. So… I quit making films after I won Devizes Film Festival in 2017. I managed to take top prize in two categories for some films I made while in the UK practicing and studying production. And to top it all off, I began my career at Media Prima working for 8TV Malaysia. Was a great experience and for the most part sometimes wish I had not left to the states to pursue a very specific film I had in mind, for those who know me, it has been my pining for a very long time. Now a trilogy with the sequel called “Burn,” I am currently working on a the third in the trilogy, entitled “Smoke,” “Burn,” & “Fall,” is a peeve of mine, which I believe can and will change the world someday. For Glory’s sake.

I started life as a state swimmer, lifeguard and national Water Polo Player that never got a chance to represent the nation at the SEA Games. You see, this is the highest mode of competition for local Water Polo Players, for we cannot possibly compete with the European. We just somehow don’t have it. The thing is this, you remember I mention circumstance… well, film was not exactly my idea. My father insisted, so like a kid born off filial piety, I left KL for Surrey, where I got my first degree.
